모바일 디바이스는 아주 작고 가볍게, 그럼에도 더 많은 것을 담을 수 있게 진화해왔습니다. 스마트폰과 타블렛, 노트북과 데스크탑의 경계가 무너져 가는 이 시점에서, 다른 어떤 것들보다도 더 편하게 보여주는 것에 새로운 가치가 있을 것이라는 생각으로 [VUEKLET] 이라는 디바이스를 구상하게 되었습니다.
[VUEKLET] 은 폴더블/플렉서블 디스플레이를 활용하여 타블렛의 새로운 사용성과 모바일리티를 제공합니다. 저는 이번 전시를 통해 접히고 휘어지는 스크린을 가진 디바이스에는 어떤 UX가 필요할까 라는 생각에서부터, 기존의 단점들을 다시 고려한 미래지향적인 OS의 밑그림까지 제안해 보고자 하였습니다.
Mobile devices have evolved much smaller and lighter, but still that can hold more contents.
Smartphones and tablet, laptop and desktop boundaries are crumbling. So I thought more comfortable showing would be worth than any other things. And I envisioned [VUEKLET] the device.
[VUEKLET] provide the new usability and mobility of the tablet by utilizing foldable display.
Through this exhibition I want to propose the new UX for device with simply folding screen. Also I want to make a sketch of futuristic OS by considering the disadvantages of the existing.
